Follow me on Instagram! Starting as a hobby in March 2020, Stonecraft Leather quickly turned into a passion. Located in Libertyville, IL, every piece I offer is handcrafted with care, using only the finest materials sourced from around the world. My quaint “Leather Barn” workshop, nestled in the backyard, is where all the magic happens – it’s my little sanctuary.

He likes to carry a plain Manila folder but has a thing for kangaroo leather. So we made it happen.This hide can be purchased from @montanaleathercompany for around $130. Each hide is vegetable tanned, runs about 7 SF and sleek at 2-3oz. What would you make with this gorgeous hide?Hand stitched and bespoke.

The largest bag I’ve made.I used the @sailrite The largest bag I’ve made.I used the @sailrite duffle pattern as a base then altered a bit. This bag has 4 extra inches compared to the pattern so it’s a large 28 inches side to side. I’ve added a wider front pocket and pleated the interior lining to allow for more room in the front pocket.I’ve used the famous @horweenleather English Dublin and a nylon interior lining.All this was done on the #fabricator sewing machine from Sailrite.
